Women in the Media: International Conference in Sarajevo

On Monday, April 20, 2026, the first international conference will be held in Sarajevo as part of the project »Ending workplace harassment in the media industry in Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina – Women in the Media«.

The conference will present:

• the results of the first comparative regional research on harassment in the media industry,
• key findings from national prespectives,
• the Rulebook on the prevention of sexual and other harassment in newsrooms.

The event will also provide a space for discussion with female journalists on how to put these findings into practice.

The project is co-funded by the European Union.
